It’s been awhile since we’ve heard any new music from Miguel. Recently, he contributed a new song called ‘Simple Things’ to the popular HBO series ‘Girls.’ On Thursday (May 29), the R&B loverboy released a romantic video for his yearning ballad.

Directed by Miguel, himself, the artsy black-and-white clip features the Grammy Award-winning artist leaving his home to meet up with his ladylove played by Sports Illustrated model Gigi Hadid.

As he walks through the streets of Los Angeles, we get secondary shots of Miguel as the Grey Wind from ‘Game of Thrones’ fame. In essence, he’s the wolf of L.A. going to meet his Red Riding Hood.

At the end of the video, Miguel gets some cuddle time in with Hadid as the two lay on the beach and enjoy the sunset. “I just want you, I just want the simple things,” he croons.

Miguel is currently working on his follow-up to his Gramy-nominated album ‘Kaleidoscope Dream,’ which is reportedly due out in the fall.

In the meantime, enjoy Miguel’s romantic visual of summer love.
