Atlanta rap group Migos were reportedly involved in a shootout on Interstate 95 in Miami early Friday morning (March 28). Although the three members escaped injury, one person was shot in the leg.

According to CBS Miami, Migos was set to perform at Cafe Iguana Thursday night (March 26) but the show was canceled after they got into a minor scuffle with management. When the 'Versace' rap trio were returning to their hotel, a dark vehicle pulled up alongside them and opened fire on their Mercedes van.

"A member of the group was in possession of his personal handgun, and he returned fire," said Florida Highway Patrol trooper Joe Sanchez.

There were eight people inside the van when the shots rang out. One person, possibly Migos’ bodyguard, was shot in the leg and rushed to Jackson Memorial hospital where he is recovering.

A rep for Migos said none of the three band members was shot.

Police have confiscated the van, which was riddled with bullets, as evidence, and are looking for the gunmen.

If you have any information about the shooting, call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
