Michelle Williams has premiered her new buzz single, 'Love Gun,' making sure we remember the other third of Destiny's Child while Beyonce tops the album charts with '4' and Kelly Rowland's 'Motivation' keeps us going all summer.

Williams tells Concrete Loop, "My album will be 'inspirational pop.' Think of Katy Perry's 'Firework' or Natasha Bedingfeld's 'Unwritten.' I want to give people a message of hope while at the same time get them moving with dance-inspired tracks."

You can definitely hear all that in the Druski-produced 'Love Gun.' We can see where Michelle is going with this, but hopefully her songs stand on their own and don't sound too much like her pop contemporaries.

Williams is reportedly recording with superstar producers like Jim Jonsin and Rico Love on her as-yet-untitled fourth studio album. Her first official single from the album will drop around August or September, and the album release is set to follow this winter.
