Metro Boomin has been one of the hardest working producers in the game over the past few years, and now the music-maker is taking his success to the next level. The Southern producer revealed in a new interview with GQ that he is going to start his own record label in the near future, and will be releasing his own debut album through it.

“I’m heavily influenced by a lot of people like Dre, Pharrell, and Kanye," he told the publication. "They’re all big time tastemakers and trendsetters, just for culture, period. So I strive to do that as well. I’m starting my label up, so of course I’m going to keep bringing new things to the table: new artists, new sounds, and new vibes for people to love and live with.”

So far, we don't have much information on the upcoming label, such as the name or who may initially be signed to it, but we can guarantee that Metro will be getting swarmed with even more messages with music from artists.

For now, we can anticipate some new music from Metro to come soon enough, and hopefully he will give us a preview of his debut album sometime in the near future.
