Melanie Fiona appeared on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Monday night (Feb. 27), rocking yellow platform heels and a short purple number as she performed two songs from her forthcoming sophomore LP, 'The MF Life,' all while backed by a live band.

The Toronto-born singer opened with '4 AM,' showcasing her range over the Rico Love-produced track, which is the second single from her new album.

Following her impassioned performance, Fiona returned with her J. Cole-featured album cut 'This Time,' though the Roc Nation rapper was sadly not in attendance.

'The MF Life' is in stores on March 20, with appearances by Nas, B.o.B., John Legend and Cole, and features production by Salaam Remi and Rico Wade.
