Meek Mill is currently behind bars but his annual “DreamChaser's Thanksgiving" will continue as planned.

Created by Meek and his team, "DreamChasers Thanksgiving," provides people in the Philadelphia area with turkeys during the holiday. People may have thought the event was going to be canceled due to Meeks incarceration. But an Instagram picture that was posted on Meek's account assured people that 1,000 turkeys will be handed out on Wednesday, Nov. 22 by four different organizations in the city of Philadelphia. Meek has been hosting the giveaway since 2013.

The times and locations are:

- 11 a.m. at Unity in the Community
- 12 p.m. at Bible Way Baptist Church
- 2 p.m. at Martin Luther King Rec Center
- 3 p.m. at Strawberry Mansion Learning Center

Meek is currently in jail and could face up to four years for violating his probation. The sentence has sparked a public outcry from his fans, people within the community of Philadelphia, and across the nation. This hard sentence stemmed from a gun and drug possession charge that Meek received back in 2008.
