Meek Mill's debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, is set to drop at the end of this month. The rapper enjoyed a star-studded listening party for the record last night (Oct. 10). Held in Greenwich Village at Jimi Hendrix's infamous Electric Lady Studio, the guest list included heavyweights like Jay-Z, Rick Ross, The Dream and even Will Smith.

Hosted by Hot 97's Angie Martinez and sponsored by D'USSE Cognac, the listening party had all the elements required for a successful press-gathering event. But does Meek Mill's album have the chops to actually live up to the hype? The rapper has forgotten his own release date in interviews because of the delays and the tracklist boasts almost as many collaborators as Kanye West's Cruel Summer had.

Regardless, Meek has come a long way since his days as a battle rapper in Philadelphia. He is set to embark on a massive tour with fellow Maybach Music Group rappers Rick Ross and Wale, an almost unstoppable bill that is further amped by the presence of Machine Gun Kelly.

Dreams and Nightmares, due Oct. 30, is available for pre-order here.
