Grammy-winning rapper MC Lyte has announced plans to launch a syndicated radio show in early March.

Lyte will host the new talk show, 'Cafe Mocha,' with co-hosts, comedian Loni Love of 'Chelsea Lately' fame, and Angelique Perrin, from the popular Los Angeles radio show 'The Beat.' 'Cafe Mocha' will also feature guest appearances by Emmy-winning author Michelle Hammond and sexologist Dr. Rachael Ross. The show's executive producer, Sheila Elridge, calls it an African-American version of popular talk show 'The View.'

"Café Mocha brings a fresh and empowering perspective that will speak directly and wholeheartedly to a community often overlooked by radio -- African American women," Eldridge said. "We're aiming to become the Essence magazine of the airwaves celebrating all shades of mocha."

The show, will also feature "the best in urban hits." Check out the website here.
