Rapper Max B could be home sooner than expected. The New York spitter, who is currently serving a 75-year bid over a botched 2006 robbery, has been trying to appeal his sentence ever since heading to the clink in June 2009. But according to the Harlemite, he could be back on the streets this July.

"The appeal process is done, finally, it's been done for about a month now," he told AllHipHop.com during a recent interview. "So now what they do is, the prosecutor responds back and you get a letter. They tell you, you gotta wait eight to 10 months for a response from the appellate court."

Additionally, Max, whose real name is Charles Wingate, explained that all of his paperwork is complete and that he's waiting on the system to process his request. "You might see me in the summer, you might see me at the end of the year," he continued. "I'm just waiting on the appellate courts. All my paperwork is done."

The 32-year-old is currently behind bars after being found guilty on nine murder conspiracy charges in June 2009. According to his ex-girlfriend Gina Conway, he planned the 2006 robbery after she told him her new boyfriend bought her expensive gifts. Max and his step-brother Kelvin Leerdam went to the boyfriend's hotel room, leading to his death and the arrests of Conway, Leerdam and Max.
