The institution of marriage is taking a major hit in the hip-hop world. A day after Timbaland's wife filed for separation from the producer, Master P's spouse is now asking for a divorce.

According to TMZ, Sonya Miller is calling it quits and has submitted divorce papers seeking to end their 24-year marriage. The spouse has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the dissolve of their union.

Sonya is requesting full custody of their four minor children, not including their adult son, rapper Romeo Miller. She also wants spousal support.

Master P and Sonya reportedly have been estranged for a few years. In fact, according to TMZ, the 43-year-old rap mogul may already have a new boo in his life. Back in April, an unidentified woman, that he's allegedly been dating, threw him a surprise birthday party. However, the celebration was a bust as Master P didn't like being surprised and stormed off leaving partygoers in a lurch.

Master P is the third rapper to be hit with divorce papers in the past few weeks.

Timbaland's wife, Monique Mosley, recently filed for divorce after a five years of marriage. She is demanding that the hitmaker pay child support for her two kids, alimony, vacations, summer camp and life insurance for the children.

A few weeks prior, Big Boi's wife, Sherlita M. Patton, submitted a divorce complaint stating that her 11-year marriage to the OutKast rhymer has been "irretrievably broken." She is seeking sole custody of their 12-year-old son Cross, alimony and equitable division of marital property.

We wish all parties involved the best of luck. It looks like these ladies are the perfect candidates to join VH1's 'Love & Hip-Hop' franchise. We are just saying.
