Master P has announced that he'll be hosting a benefit concert and fundraiser— The iHeart Benefit Fest— next year to assist Louisiana flood victims.

Specifically, P is aiming to help victims who were displaced by the flood get back into their homes. The concert will take place during the NBA's All-Star weekend, which will be hosted in New Orleans this year. A report from the Baton Rouge Area Chamber says that an estimated 110,000 homes valued at $20.7 billion were damaged.

“Together we will entertain and give fans a great show but the real mission is to help get families back into their homes,” Master P's website says.  “In Baton Rouge, there is still a lot of pollution in the air, water damages and mildew.”

Master P, who was recently prominently featured on Solange's acclaimed album A Seat At the Table told Vibe he hopes to get his celebrity friends involved in the fundraising efforts.

“I want all the athletes to come out, we are going to have all the top celebrities there from Usher to Lil Wayne," P said. “When people look at the floods and a lot of victims, they are not back in their homes yet in Baton Rouge, and I feel like for All Star Weekend, even though this will be a fun event, It will be a way for everyone to do their part, so this concert will be great for our people and Baton Rouge.”

The event will take place on Feb. 18, 2017.
