No Limit Records founder Master P and Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane are teaming up for an upcoming film titled 'Get Money.'

AllHipHop.com reports that the film will follow street hustler Big G -- played by Gucci Mane -- and his philosopher friend Monster -- played by Master P -- as they try to abandon street life in favor of a career in the hip-hop industry. The film is based on a novel and screenplay written by Master P and will be directed by Robert Jones.

Gucci made first mention of the upcoming film during an interview with MTV back in October. "Me and P are doing two movies," Mr. La Flare explained. "That's a field I never got into, movies, and I want to get into. So I want to get money with somebody I want to, so I reached out to him. ... My boys want to do movies, so why not with someone who has done it before and keep it in-house?"

'Get Money' is currently slated for an August 2011 release, and other actors in the film will include Megan Good, Meek Mill, AJ Johnson and Bengie.

On Tuesday (March 22), Gucci Mane released his new street compilation, 'The Return of Mr. Zone 6,' and has revealed that he is already at work on his follow-up album, 'The Ice Cream Man.' In addition to his solo projects, fans can also expect a joint album from Gucci and fellow So Icey Entertainment rapper Waka Flocka Flame. The effort, titled 'The Ferrari Boys,' will include 20 tracks showcasing each of their rhymes and will feature production from Drumma Boy, Shawty Redd, FATBOI and Schife.
