Mary J. Blige's publicist, Kerynne Tencer, is attempting to do some serious damage control after The New York Post ran a story earlier today claiming that Mary punched her husband, Kendu Isaacs, in the face during her album release party in New York City on Tuesday night (Dec. 22).

"People lie and don't know what they're talking about," Tencer said. "They're as happy as can be. They're spending the holidays together with their three children. Everything's great." An unnamed witness reportedly told The Post that a fight sparked between the couple when Isaacs was caught flirting with female waitresses at M2 Ultra Lounge, in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. "She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night," the witness allegedly said. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face. She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?"

Although reports claim that Isaacs was escorted from the club after the fight, Blige's publicist issued a statement denying that any of the above incidents actually took place. According to Tencer, there is absolutely no drama between Mary and Isaacs, who is also her manager and husband of almost seven years. Mary J. released her ninth album, 'Stronger With Each Tear,' on Tuesday with notable attendees like Jay-Z, Beyonce and Busta Rhymes present to check out the new LP. Guest appearances on the album include T.I, Drake and Trey Songz.
