Mary J. Blige Reunites With Pharrell on Soulful Ballad ‘See That Boy Again’

Mary J. Blige is on a roll! After releasing ‘Suitcase‘ and her cover of Shalamar’s ’80s hit ‘A Night to Remember,’ she’s back with another tune from the ‘Think Like a Man Too’ soundtrack.

The song, ‘See That Boy Again,’ reunites the veteran R&B singer with ‘Happy’ creator Pharrell Williams, who previously produced her ‘No More Drama’ track ‘Steal Away.’

On ‘See That Boy Again,’ MJB regrets a missed opportunity to hook up with a guy that captures her heart and mind.

“I gotta see that boy again / ‘Cause I wanna feel that joy again,” she sings over an orchestral soul groove provided by Skateboard P. The song is perfect for two-stepping with your significant other on the dance floor.

The ‘Think Like a Man Too’ soundtrack should be renamed the ‘MJB Album’ because every song on the collection is performed by the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. Not that we’re complaining.

The album, which hits stores on June 17, is available for pre-order at If you’re yearning for some new music from Mary J. Blige, this is the album to cop for the summer.
