Mary J. Blige Performs ‘Therapy’ at 2014 American Music Awards
Mary J. Blige took the audience to church with a soulful therapeutic session by performing her Sam Smith co-written new song, ‘Therapy,' at the 2014 American Music Awards.
The Queen of R&B looked sleek in all-black attire -- a blazer paired with leather pants -- and her short blonde coif swept to the side as she belted out the latest single from her forthcoming album, ‘The London Sessions.’
"I don't wanna be around me / And I don't blame you if you blocking all my calls / Been no ups since I been sleeping soundly / Most nights I lie awake between two and four / Work is stressing me out / And after all this time / It's still never enough," she sings.
The live band paired well with her vocals, further igniting anticipation for her Dec. 2 release.
