Mary J. Blige will join Bob Dylan, Weezer and Hole to headline the 40th annual Bumbershoot festival in Seattle, Washington this September.

The Queen of R&B will be joined by Roc Nation artist J. Cole to close out the festivities during the final night of the three-day music and arts festival, which runs from September 4-6, at the Seattle Center. The two will wrap things up with a hip-hop/R&B set on Monday night, following a folk set on Saturday, and an alternative-rock set on Sunday.

Chris Porter, Programming Director for One Reel Festival Divisions, explained that the 2010 festival will focus on pairing up artists in different age ranges. "Bumbershoot has a strong history of showcasing emerging talent alongside veteran superstars. This year for our 40th Festival, we're excited to have artists than span more than four decades of phenomenal music," Porter said. "With this roster of talent, we're truly offering a music lineup that will engage and entertain people of all ages and interests."

In the coming weeks, One Reel will announce a surprise guest who will join Mary J. Blige and J. Cole on the final night of the festival. Jay-Z, anyone?
