According to Us Weekly, MC apparently "texted Nas, wondering if he had any friends she could go out with -- or even just hook up with," an insider shares. The two have collaborated professionally on tracks like 'Dedicated' and 'Thank God I Found You (Remix),' but the source says that Nas doesn't want any part in trying to find her a bae. Apparently, the rapper "is nervous to introduce her to anyone."

Mariah has been romantically linked to hotties like Yankees legend Derek Jeter and Latin crooner Luis Miguel in the past. The songbird is single after her recent split from hubby Nick Cannon, though the two haven't talked openly about the reason behind their breakup.

Cannon recently made headlines for his rumored romance with Amber Rose, who filed for divorce from husband Wiz Khalifa. While those rumors have been shot down, it looks like the Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon marriage is in troubled waters considering the latter just covered the "Mariah" tattoo he has on his back.
