NBC will release a primetime special around the effort, hosted by Matt Lauer, called ‘Me. I Am Mariah,” airing May 31 at 8PM ET. The program will give an inside look into Carey’s marriage with hubby Nick Cannon and their domestic life.

“It truly is a family,” says Cannon in a clip. “It doesn’t matter what goes on outside of our household. As long as everything inside is tight and we enjoy it and embrace that union, and that foundation that we’ve built.”
