As expected, there's another response to Trinidad James' negative comments about the current New York hip-hop scene. This one comes from Brooklyn's own Maino, and it's just as harsh, if not worse, than AG Da Coroner's diss.

"S/O to all the NY n----s who let this Rotten Teeth n---- @TrinidadJamesGG disrespect us lastnite!" Maino tweets, referring to the audience who failed to retaliate when the Atlanta rapper made his comments at Brooklyn's Converse Rubber Tracks on Tuesday night (Nov. 12).

After another jab at docile New Yorkers, Maino addressed Trinidad James more directly and mockingly: "Heyy buddy @trinidadjamesGG I'll be ur Huckleberry! Lol imma brush those teeth when I see u baby boy. U a street n---- rite? Lmao"

Maino also took time to defend why James was out of place in comparison to Kendrick Lamar, who claimed he was the "king of New York" in his 'Control' verse. "Kendrick RAPPED his position on HIMSELF lyrically," he explains. "That's rap. James held a lecture on the state of affairs in NY?? Who the F--- are you!!"

Specifically, James said Atlanta "runs" New York when it comes to hip-hop, and questioned the city's relevance in the post-Dipset era.

In October, Maino collaborated with Jadakiss on 'What Happened,' in which he ponders why the New York hip-hop scene is believed to have fallen off.
