M.I.A. isn't afraid to go off on artists. She's been quoted calling a Justin Bieber video "an assault to my eyes" and Lady Gaga "a good mimic." But M.I.A., who releases her new album, '///Y/,' this week, only has accolades for Young Money's First Lady Nicki Minaj.

"Nicki Minaj runs hip-hop," M.I.A. said during a recent radio appearance. Minaj also lends her vocals to a remix of the new track 'Teqkilla,' off M.I.A.'s third LP. "She works hard and that's what it is," M.I.A. continued. "She's focused and that's good. It's been a while since a female rapper has come up with that much... She's got a really good work ethic, and I get her."

You can listen to the manic remix via Rap-Up.com.
