If the story in the song is good enough, the video doesn't have to be complicated at all.

Take the new vid for Lupe Fiasco's "Jump" for example, a cut off his Drogas Light album. Despite the Chicago native and Gizzle telling a complex tale about a girl trapper, it's just the two of them in a room.

While they spit, however, there's eye-catching flashes of color that grab your attention and cool looking sculptures that stand in the background. The way it seems, Lupe wanted the viewer to use his or her imagination, as opposed to going the literal route and showing everything that he and Gizzle rhymed about.

All and all, the video is darn entertaining and again, that has plenty to do with Mr. Fiasco's strong storytelling. You can check it out above to see if you agree.
