The 49th Grammy Awards announcements left Ludacris with multiple honors, including a Best Rap Album nomination for 'Release Therapy.' After having taken a short hiatus from music to concentrate on his burgeoning film career, the multimedia star also known as actor Chris Bridges tells AOL Music the honor is a big one.

"It is the icing on the cake," he says. "I know I put my heart and soul into this album, so no words can explain it."

Among his peers also nominated was his friend and collaborator Mary J. Blige. Ludacris says he's pleased to see so many of his colleagues being honored as well. "I love seeing that happen, because I know how much of a hard worker not only Mary, but all the individuals up there are. So just to see all that hard work pay off, you can't help but to feel good about it."
