Ludacris Films Comedy With Hilary Swank in New York City
Atlanta rapper Ludacris is currently in New York City filming his part in the upcoming, star-studded film 'New Year's Eve.'
Luda tweeted photos of himself on set with actress Hilary Swank, first with the caption "Shooting yet another movie. This time as NYPD's finest. Lol. Officer Bridges reporting for duty..." and three hours later, followed by, "2 time Oscar winner Hilary Swank & future Oscar winner Chris Bridges on Set!"
Chris "Ludacris" Bridges will play the role of an NYPD officer in the new dramedy, which also features appearances from Jessica Biel, Halle Berry and Sofia Vergara. The rapper-turned-actor's job will be to assist Swank's character, who is the director of the New Year's Eve festivities in Times Square.
Ludacris' most recent silver screen moments have included a short stint in the romantic comedy 'No Strings Attached,' an appearance as himself in 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' and a short role in the upcoming 'Fast and the Furious' installment 'Fast Five.' He is currently repped by Creative Artists Agency.
On the music front, the rhymer is currently at work on his eighth studio album 'Ludaversal' which will feature production from the Neptunes. His last release, 2010's 'Battle of the Sexes,' spawned the hit singles 'My Chick Bad' featuring Nicki Minaj, and 'Sex Room' featuring Trey Songz, which debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart.
