Ludacris and Eudoxie Welcome Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for newlyweds Ludacris and Eudoxie. The couple welcome baby girl Cadence Gaelle Bridges today (June 4).

Eudoxie shared the news on her Instagram account with a photo featuring an “It’s A Girl” balloon tied around a dog’s neck. “"She is here #blessed #grateful," she wrote in the accompanying caption. Luda also posted a nostalgic message of his own featuring an image of baby Eudoxie in her mother's arms. “#tbt now @eudoxiee will be switching places.#blessings #love #life,” he wrote expressing excitement for the new addition to their family.

A source close to the Bridges family told E! News baby Cadence was “7 pounds, 4 ounces and beautiful like her mom.” The source also disclosed the meaning of her middle name, which translates to “a father's joy.” The Ludaversal rhymer first announced that he and his wife were expecting a child in March. They revealed the pregnancy in an adorable photo featuring Luda kissing Eudoxie’s baby bump on the beach.

The new addition comes to the family just months after the pair tied the knot in December 2014. The intimate ceremony was held in their Georgia home a few days after Christmas. Luda has two other daughters from previous relationships: Karma, 14 and Cai Bella Bridges, 1. This is Eudoxie's first child.
