Ludacris Attempts to Limit Child Support for New Baby
Ludacris is a father once again but it looks like the rapper was keeping his bundle of joy under wraps until now.
The ‘Battle of the Sexes’ creator welcomed Cai Bella Bridges on Dec. 9, 2013. While Ludacris accepts that the newborn is his — he hasn’t legally established paternity yet — he wants to set a hard limit on the amount of child support he’ll have to pay. The child’s mother, Tamika Fuller, was intimate with the southern rhymer during a break in his relationship with girlfriend Eudoxie.
In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 31-year-old claims he earns $25,842.41 a month. Under Georgia law — the state in which Ludacris lives — his monthly child support payment would be set at $1,754.66 as a result of his income.
That monetary amount may seem low compared to Forbes’ 2012 report of the MC having a net worth of $12 million.
In addition to baby Cai, Ludacris has a daughter, Karma.
On the music front, he’ll be releasing his eight studio LP, ‘Ludaversal,’ this year.
