Lord Jamar is one of the most outspoken rappers on social media due to his provocative interviews on Vlad TV. In his recent interview on the video channel, the former Brand Nubian member said that he doesn’t support the Black Lives Matter movement because “it’s not our movement.”

The topic came up after Vlad asked Jamar about Lil Wayne’s controversial Nightline interview where he dismissed the BLM movement.

Jamar believes that Weezy is living in his own world and doesn’t watch much news on television. That’s when the veteran rhymer told Vlad that he’s not necessarily a support of Black Lives Matter himself.

"This is a movement that was given to us by [billionaire financier] George Soros and his f---ing boys,” Jamar said. “Because they saw how things were going and they didn’t want to go back to the Sixties to where we start having our own organic movement - that was a big f---ing problem for them."

"So let’s give the people a movement that we can control. Will provide them the leaders," he continued. "These lesbian women who are trying to incorporate the LGBT concerns into black people’s concerns."

Jamar continues and says there are no real leaders of the BLM movement. He also talks about social engineering and how it's distracting people from the real issues.

Some have been supportive of Jamar's statement, with many saying that he's speaking the truth.

"Siding with @lordjamar on this 1. #blacklivesmatter is a gimmick with no true leader at the helm it's social engineering at its finest," wrote one fan.
