Lil Wayne’s Dental Surgery Amounts to Eight Root Canals

When Lil Wayne's sentencing was postponed due to dental surgery many questioned the severity of his "situation," but it looks like the judge's decision was more than fair.

According to TMZ, Weezy underwent marathon oral surgery on Tuesday (Feb. 16). The rapper's procedure included a whopping eight root canals, several tooth implants and other repairs to his grill in one day. Wayne was reportedly under the knife (or whatever tool they use to poke, pull and patch teeth) for eight hours.

Thanks to the considerate judge Wayne will face the fire and be sentenced -- and enter prison -- for felony attempted gun possession on March 2.
