Lil Wayne usually gets gully and grimey in the visuals for his rap tracks, but this time he's embracing his sensitive side. After all, thugs need and give love, too. The Young Money boss has debuted the video for 'How to Love,' a song -- featured on his ninth studio album, 'Tha Carter IV' -- which is a departure from his usual talk of cash and the sticky icky, yet sends a meaningful message about the plights women experience on the road to romance.

In the clip, directed by Chris Robinson, the opening shot is meant to keep viewers' eyes glued to the screen as a woman, sitting on a table inside an abortion clinic, changes her mind about giving up her seed and runs out of the room. A shirtless Wayne, standing next to a guitar, raps lines like, "You had a lot of crooks try to steal your heart, never really had luck, could never figure out how to love," as the storyline-driven visuals showcase a down-on-her-luck lady enduring a troubled childhood that includes molestation.

From stripping to prostitution, a boyfriend in prison and single motherhood, the anguished woman can't seem to catch a break, eventually contracting HIV. Wayne serves as narrator for her emotional struggles.

'Tha Carter IV' drops at midnight on Aug. 29, following the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
