After his Nightline debacle, Lil Wayne is still doing interviews. This time, however, he didn’t say anything crazy, but he did deliver some good news.

The embattled rapper appeared on The Nine Club With Chris Roberts podcast skateboard podcast recently and revealed that he’s finishing up on new project called Funeral that will satisfy his dedicated fans. "Get y'all roses ready," he said.

“I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon,” Weezy explains further. “If you are a Wayne fan - I know we’ve been going through a lot of tough times right now - but if you are a Wayne fan, we’re about to hold our heads high."

This bit of news follows recent reports that Tunechi may be signing with Jay Z's Roc Nation. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, Wayne has been spotted throwing up the ROC sign with his hands. However, Wayne still has a $51 million lawsuit against Birdman that still hasn't been resolved.

Watch the interview above and listen to Lil Wayne's Funeral announcement comes at the 56-minute mark.
