Lil Wayne Takes an ‘Off Day’ With Flow on New Song

It’s hard to fathom the idea that Lil Wayne takes time off from ‘Grindin’’ but according to his new single, even the YMCMB CEO needs an ‘Off Day.’

With less than a month to go before 'Tha Carter V’ drops, Weezy is taking time out to celebrate and turn up -- on weekday no less -- with his Young Money protégé Flow. Tunechi, or “bae” as his girl calls him, lives life to the fullest on 'Off Day,' heading from the club to the bedroom to continue the party.

Weezy sets the pace on his opening verse before going in about his bad bitch with the beef cake. “Oh I, don't give a fuck about these n---s all in my face / 'Cause I'm in the club goin' up, on a weekday / I got an off day tomorrow, I'ma sleep late." He even takes a page from new Cash Money signee Juvenile dropping lines from Juve’s ‘Back That Ass Up’ with: “And now them titties sittin' nice yeah, I wanna bite that / I could f--- you right yeah, all night yeah.”

Flow follows suit on the second verse detailing his open relationship with Vanessa. “I'm comfortable by her I put my pistol on her dresser / Had a threesome with her sister,” he rhymes.

Going in ping-pong style suits Wayne and Flow well on this X-Fyle-produced beat. ‘Off Day’ is the latest offering from ‘Tha Carter V,’ out Dec. 9.
