It looks like Lil Wayne will live up to his promise and deliver Tha Carter V album to his fans.

After reaching an undisclosed settlement with Birdman and Cash Money Records, Weezy appears to be prepping the release of his long-awaited. During a show at Miami’s Story nightclub, Wayne updated fans on the progress of TC5.

“Just to let y’all know, I had a meeting today. It wasn’t a long meeting, but just so you know the meeting was about the release date of Tha Carter f---ing V,” he told the cheering from the crowd.

Ironically, Story nightclub is the same place where Weezy and Baby hugged it out back in March.

There hasn't been any additional information about the meeting or details about the release date. One thing's for sure, the album has been in the making for a very long time. It would be interesting to see what kind of roll out Wayne has planned for the project.

Earlier this month, Tunechi’s lawyer Ron Sweeney confirmed that the rapper had reached a settlement in his legal battle with Cash Money. However, he didn't comment on reports that Wayne received a $10 million check from Universal Music Group.

“In terms of the particulars, we’re prohibited legally from saying anything further,” said Sweeney. “I can say that my client is happy. He is his own man, a man that owns his assets, his music and himself. At some point, Wayne will let his fans know what’s going to happen next."

If you are yearning for some new Weezy, he's currently featured on Nicki Minaj's latest single, "Rich Sex" and Freeway's hot track "Blood Pressure" from his new album, Think Free.
