Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige to Take Stage at 2011 Billboard Awards
Lil Wayne and Mary J. Blige have just been announced as the latest performers to grace the stage at the Billboard Music Awards this weekend. Weezy will join Mary as she belts out her latest single, 'Someone To Love Me (Naked),' off her forthcoming release 'My Life II, The Journey Continues.'
Other big names slated to take the stage include Snoop Dogg, who will team with the Far East Movement for the song 'If I Was You (OMG)'. Additionally, the 'Like a G6' rappers will link with One Republic's Ryan Tedder for their 'Rocketeer' single.
The night will also feature a dedication to Beyonce, who will be honored with the Millennium Award. Rihanna, Cee Lo Green and Nicki Minaj are all expected to hit the stage to pay musical tribute to the multi-Grammy winner. Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas are also scheduled to appear on the show. The competition for Billboard trophies is shaping up to be pretty stiff as Eminem leads the nomination race with 18 nods, narrowly beating out Rihanna who snagged an impressive 16.
'Hangover' star Ken Jeong will host the show, which will air live from the Las Vegas MGM Grand Garden Arena, Sunday at 8PM EST.
