Lil Wayne Hit With $5.6 Million Tax Lien From IRS

It looks like Lil Wayne is in trouble with the government yet again. Though the Young Money boss recently paid off a $1.13 million tax lien in Dade County, Fla., in November 2010, he has reportedly been hit with another IRS bill, this time for a whopping $5,610,034.00.

The IRS has been hounding Wayne for unpaid income taxes for years, filing a lien against the rapper back in 2008, going after his One Family Foundation charity in June 2010, for the years 2004, 2005 and 2007. Now the government is seeking over $5.6 million for income earned during the years 2008 and 2009.

According to the new lien, Wayne owes $3,335,077.95 for revenue earned in the year 2008, and $2,258,956.04 for 2009. The address listed on the lien, which can be viewed here, is Weezy’s $12.9 million, 15,101 square foot mansion, on a private Miami island, which is apparently for sale.

Wayne is currently listed as a self-employed small business owner. His long awaited new album, ‘Tha Carter IV’ hits stores on May 16.
