Lil WayneNew Orleans rapper Lil Wayne is a sports junkie. His addiction is no secret as he's blogged for ESPN in the past, and shouted out University of Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin on a freestyle from his 'No Ceilings' mixtape. "Smoke weed, talk s--t like Lane Kiffin," Weezy rapped on the track.

Wayne goes into further detail about the line in the straight-to-DVD documentary 'The Nino Brown Story, Pt. 2.' Weezy talks about watching ESPN host Jim Rome discuss the line with the head coach.

"[Rome] put what I said up [on the TV screen]: 'Smoke weed, talk s--t like Lane Kiffin,'" Wayne explained. "Then he said Lane Kiffin said, 'We don't indulge in that.' Rome said, 'Little do you know, Lane, that you're gonna be sitting in some high schooler's living room and his mom is gonna call him from the back. And he's gonna come up front and he's gonna have an iPod on, and you know what he's gonna be listening to? "Smoke weed, talk s--t like Lane Kiffin." You're gonna have to say, "We're cool with that guy you're listening to." You know what, Lane? This is a good day for you and Tennessee.' I was like, 'N----, Jim Rome crazy!'"

Coach Kiffin acknowledged Wayne's shoutout via his Twitter account last year, saying "Looking forward to another great practice today and a huge game Saturday ... Also a huge shout to Lil Wayne for boosting our street cred!"

Wayne continued to discuss his sports addiction in the DVD, which will be in stores on Jan. 22, exclaiming "I need to get that ESPN The Magazine s--- in the bing!"

Wayne is currently awaiting sentencing for a gun charge in New York. His album ' Rebirth' is in stores in February.
