Lil Wayne may be locked up at Rikers Island, but that hasn't stopped him from finding a way to keep his own music on deck. The New York Daily News reports that the Young Money CEO was busted this week for having "music contraband."

"He was found with a charger for an MP3 player and unauthorized earphones [in his cell]," revealed a source. Prison officers found the items wrapped in foil and a bag stuffed in Lil Wayne's trash on the morning of May 11, following a tip from an insider at the prison facility. It's still under investigation how Lil Wayne got the items.

In a later search the source also said another inmate located in the same wing as Lil Wayne had a similar music player in his possession. As a result of the find, Lil Wayne and the other inmate will be charged with infraction for contraband.

Before starting his sentence, Lil Wayne told Rolling Stone that he planned to keep working while in prison. "I'll have an iPod and I'll make sure they keep sending me beats," he told the publication. Guess he stayed true to his statement!

Lil Wayne has been at Rikers Island on March 10 following a gun possession charge stemming from a 2007 incident.
