While fans were busy listening to his newly released single '6' 7',' Lil Wayne took a little time out of his schedule to bowl a few strikes for charity. The New Orleans native joined NBA baller Chris Paul for the Celebrity Bowling Invitational put on by the Professional Bowlers Association at Riverboat Lanes in his hometown, Tuesday (Dec. 14).

Weezy, who has been bowling since he was a teenager, partnered with professional bowler Norm Duke in the doubles competition against other celebrity attendees Nelly and Reggie Bush. Wayne's Young Money counterpart, Mack Maine, showed his support from the audience.

A longtime fan of the sport the Grammy winner owns four custom-made bowling balls. "If you talk to a professional bowler, he would explain or she'll explain how your own ball and your own shoes, and perfect lanes are important," Wayne told CBS news anchor, Katie Couric in an interview last year. "I bowl with the curve and so it makes it curve."

Since his release from prison in early November, Wayne has been spotted at various charity events, and is prepping the release of his long-awaited 'Tha Carter IV,' album, which is slated to drop February 2011.

Although it was unclear if Wayne was victorious in the charity tournament, the event will air on ESPN on Super Bowl Sunday.
