Lil Wayne Lil Wayne's legal troubles are piling up. The rapper, along with Cash Money head Birdman, are being sued for copyright infringement by a man who claims his vocals were used on the 'Like Father, Like Son' album -- specifically in the outro 'Respect' -- and '5 Star Stunna' without his expressed permission.

Thomas Marasciullo alleges the pair asked him to provide Italian-styled spoken word recordings but placed them on both gold-selling projects without his knowledge. Furthermore, Marasciullo claims the rappers never compensated him for using his vocals. Marasciullo didn't realize his voice was featured on the Cash Money projects until he reportedly stumbled upon 'Respect' when his daughter was trying to buy a ringtone. He is seeking unspecified damages.

Lil Wayne is currently facing a year in jail after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon last week. He will be sentenced in February.
