Remember Lil Twist? At one time, he was Lil Wayne’s protege during the early days of Young Money. That was also before he started hanging out with Justin Bieber and crashing the pop star’s luxury cars on different occasions. Well, the 24-year-old rapper was just release from jail.

Back in November, Lil Twist, whose real name is Christopher Lynn Moore, was sentenced to a year in L.A. County jail for allegedly breaking into former Nickelodeon actor Chris Massey’s apartment, assaulting him and taking the actor’s expensive Rolex watch in 2014. Twist only served seven weeks and some change for the crime, according to Rap-Up.

The jubilant rapper went on his Instagram page to express his relief that he’s now a freed man. “I’m Home! Thank God! #YM,” he wrote earlier this week. “Thank God! Man! That’s not a place for nobody."

There's no word on what Twist's future plans are. Prior to jail, the YM rapper announced that he was working on a new EP called Young Carter. Well, he's certainly not young anymore.

Hopefully, Lil Twist can figure out his next move with Young Money. But that will probably put him on hold as well since Weezy and Birdman are embroiled in a legal battle.

Welcome home, Lil Twist!
