Lil Mama Claps Back at Her Haters With New Song ‘Memes’

Lil Mama is still poppin. The "Lip Gloss" rapper is back with a ferocious track aimed at her haters titled "Memes."

The video starts with the now infamous Power 105’s The Breakfast Club interview where Lil Mama broke into tears while discussing her come-up. A screenshot of the Lil Mama in tears went viral last year as internet users added their own captions to the photo like "When you see your ex with the person they told you not to worry about when y'all were together."

But while Lil Mama originally joined in on the joke, it seems she's had enough. While dressed in all white pants suits and fur coats, the "Sausage" rapper rhymes over the Notorious B.I.G.'s classic song, “Kick in the Door.”

“You get exposed if you thinking your going to kill me with Memes," she raps. In the Walu-directed visual she also looks at various news clips with her name in the headlines.

The track comes by way of Lil Mama's EP, Take Me Back, an ode to '90s hip-hop that was released last December.

In a press release, Lil Mama gloated about her latest project. “I am really proud of the work that I did on Take Me Back. It was a journey to complete, as I emptied my heart into the music. I infused older tracks and beats and paired them with new content and lyrics," she said.
