A year after giving birth to her first baby girl, Royal Reign Jones Neil, Lil’ Kim has found herself in a custody battle with the baby daddy, rapper Mr. Papers.

According to Bossip, Papers, whose real name is Jeremy Neil, has been seeking custody for his daughter after the couple broke up over infidelity claims when she was two months old. Paper claims that Kim has prevented him from seeing Royal Reign since then and now he wants the family courts to sort it all out.

The 27-year-old rapper has filed for visitation rights in June and is asking for a court-approved supervised visits with his daughter for one day a week.

“He’s not trying to take custody, he’s not trying to take [the baby],” Papers' publicist Tasha Hilton told Bossip. “He is literally just trying to see her. He’s been trying to do it very quietly.”

Kim was a no-show at a July 9 hearing and has filed a countersuit claiming that Papers allegedly has been violent towards her, which he emphatically denies. “She’s playing really dirty now with the domestic situation,” states Hilton. “There has never been any domestic violence.”

Both Kim and Papers are expected to appear in family court in North Jersey to address the domestic violence allegations. In the meantime, Papers hopes to settle this situation immediately and get back to being a parent to 1-year-old Royal Reign. “He doesn’t want his daughter to grow up and think her father didn’t care about her,” says Hilton. “The one thing that does matter to him is having his daughter in his life.”

Reps for Lil' Kim had no comment on the matter.
