Dej Loaf's 'Try Me' is an earworm if there ever was one and is the reason why rapper Lil Durk moves into the next round of The Boombox Battle this week. His remix of her hard-hitting track, produced by DDS, took 65 percent of the vote while Dej earned 35 percent of the fans support. The newcomer unfortunately got shut out but her infectious effort is still getting shine and continues on in the competition.

Durk's version of 'Try Me' finds him detailing his struggles and his triumphs with Dej's original vocals like "f--- around and I'ma catch a body" as support. While riding the mid-tempo track, the Chicago rhymer praises himself for getting signed to Def Jam and skipping a decade-long jail sentence. "And since I got my deal I feel important / I live what I rap and just recording / They try to give me 10 if I ain't have a lawyer / N----s out here snitchin' they straight informers," he raps.

The 'Try Me' remix competes against T.I.'s 'About the Money' this week. Off the King of the South's new album, 'Paperwork,' the paper-chasing anthem featuring Young Thug is perfect for getting straight to the point. "If it ain't about the money / Don't be blowin' me up, n---- I ain't gettin' up / If it ain't about the money / Ain't no use in you ringin' my line, stop wastin' my time," Tip rhymes on the London on Da Track-produced beat. Young Thug's lyrics may be indecipherable at times but his hilarious ad libs and high-energy adds to the track.

Will Lil Durk's 'Try Me' remix rise to the top or will T.I. get crowned the new winner with 'About the Money'? Only you can decide who wins by voting for your favorite artist’s song once per hour until the polls shut down on Tues., Oct. 28, at 10AM ET.
