With her recent reemergence on the performance circuit, Lauryn Hill is popping up on several 2011 festival line-ups. Yesterday she was announced as one of the acts for Coachella 2011, and now Ms. Hill is headed down south for her next venture. The reclusive singer has been tapped to headline the New Orleans Jazz & Music Heritage Festival, where she will join fellow performers John Legend & The Roots, Kid Rock, The Strokes, Arcade Fire, Willie Nelson, Bon Jovi, John Mellencamp, Jimmy Buffett and Robert Plant.

The seven-day music festival, taking place on two consecutive weekends between April 29 to May 1 and May 5 to 8, will also feature performances from Lupe Fiasco and NOLA native Mystikal. The event will also feature a celebration of Haitian culture with artists including Wyclef Jean, Boukman Eksperyans and Tabou Combo. The Haitian fete is being billed as the largest Haitian cultural event to take place in the United States since the natural disaster ravaged the country last year.

Tickets for the fest go on sale today and are available on www.nojazzfest.com and Ticketmaster. The star-studded festival follows last year's event, which featured performances from Drake, Anita Baker, Teena Marie and more.
