KRS-One is pouring one out for Phife Dawg in a tribute song to the fallen rapper.

On the track, aptly titled "The Phife Tribute," KRS tells the story of Phife Diggy's life including when Phife's wife gave her kidney to her husband and when KRS met Phife.

"Phife Dawg influenced all of us," he says over the DJ-Static produced beat. He later adds in some of Phife's most popular lyrics including the infamous Seaman's Furniture line from "Electric Relaxation" and his opening lines from "Scenario." Afterwards, he rapped about A Tribe Called Quest's influence on hip-hop. "Midnight Marauders classic, track after track / Low End Theory, boom bip, boom bap / Hip-hop moved ahead, and it never moved back," rapped KRS-One.

But it doesn't stop there -- KRS is asking all emcees to jump on the track to honor the Five Foot Assassin. "If you're a real MC, I want to hear 16s from everybody. Jump on this s---," says Phife.

The song's description encourages rappers to upload their own 16 bars and upload it with the hashtag, #ThePhifeTribute. All donations to grab the track off of Bandcamp will go to Phife's family. The minimum is $5.

We can't wait to hear emcees spit their best bars for this. With Phife Dawg's influence spanning across generations and a multitude of artists, tributes can come from anybody. Who are you hoping drops a verse on the track? Kendrick? Andre 3000? DMX? Let us know in the comments below.
