KRS-OneThe "Teacha" is back again! KRS-One -- just months after releasing his collaboration album 'Survival Skills' with Boot Camp's Buckshot -- will be releasing a new album helmed solely by Wu-Tang-affiliated producer True Master. The release, which is "coming soon," was announced via a 30-second YouTube promo, which can be seen here.

The project, titled 'Meta Historical,' features KRS rapping over a rugged beat in a reggae style, reminiscent of his 90's work with Mad Lion. "I know my roots and culture but I murrrrda yaaa!" he raps.

True Master has produced countless songs for the Wu, crafting grimy, dusty tracks in a style similar to the RZA's, including Ol' Dirty Bastard's 'Brooklyn Zoo,' Ghostface Killah's 'Fish,' Capadonna's 'Slang Editorial,' Killah Priest's 'One Step' and 'Cross My Heart,' and Inspectah Deck's 'R.E.C. Room.' He is also said to be working on his solo album, 'Master Craftsman,' which will feature several members of the Wu.

KRS, meanwhile, is coming off several successful collaborations: his 'Hip Hop Lives' album with Marley Marl in 2007, 'Survival Skills' with Buckshot and now, 'Meta Historical.'

This album might be interesting, True Master has always been underrated, in our opinion, and we're psyched to hear more of his work.
