Since being released from prison, Kodak Black continues to release new music. This time, Kodak follows up First Day Out with a new song called "My Cousin."

An extremely personal track, "My Cousin" finds Kodak Black rapping about a family member who was recently shot. Fresh out of jail, Kodak details his emotions, wishing he could get revenge for his cousin but knowing it could get him sent back to jail.

“My cousin just got up today, I want to slide through / Even though I’m on house arrest, I want to ride through,” Kodak raps on the chorus.

While the Florida rapper contemplates retaliation, the second verse finds Kodak reflecting on his fame and riches.

“I’m chopping it up with Master P, told me keep God first / We doing venus now, selling out concerts / I’m trying to keep a tunnel vision, trying to see it his way / But I got blood in my eyes I’m tired of seeing this way.”
