Kim Kardashian West is taking some much needed time off from shooting her E! reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians, after she was accosted at gunpoint, tied up and robbed of millions of dollars in jewelry while in Paris.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers of the show are only concerned with how the 35-year-old is doing at the moment, and they want her to fully recover before she starts filming again.

"Kim's well-being is our core focus right now," stated an E! channel rep. "No decision has been made as to when production will resume."

Meanwhile, Girls star and creator Lena Dunham stopped by The Breakfast Club in recent days and gave her full support to Kim.

"So awful," she said. "I literally am thinking about her every day, like she's my friend, even though I don't know her. I'm like 'Is she feeling okay? Is she talking to somebody?' I'm worried."

Dunham also said she's baffled as to why so many people are taking the robbery so lightly and choosing to bash Kardashian West.

"What I really hate about this Kim thing is that people are feeling so much license to make jokes," she stated.

"That's a human being, and she may have put her life on display in a specific way, and you may not agree with everything that she does, but that is a woman and a mother and a daughter who's just been put through something so heinous," added Dunham.

At this time, Parisian authorities are still investigating the incident, and all five suspects are still at large.

As it pertains to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it's likely the show will capture some of the robbery's aftermath when it resumes, in terms of how Kim was affected emotionally. Reportedly, the cameras weren't around when everything occurred.
