Kid Ink Arrested in Las Vegas
Rapper Kid Ink was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas Friday night (Aug. 15) after a small confrontation with authorities in a nightclub.
According to TMZ, police arrived to the 1OAK nightclub in the Mirage Hotel & Casino after a 911 call was made about a fight that broke out in the club. Eyewitnesses says that when Ink and his female companion were leaving the venue at 2AM they were "acting belligerent." When security approached them a skirmish ensued.
The unidentified woman was charged with giving a false statement to police, while Ink was hit with a charge of disturbing the peace.
Both were released on Saturday afternoon without posting bail. However, Ink will have to appear in court on Monday (Aug. 18).
The rapper was in town for a performance at the 1OAK nightclub.
Reps for Kid Ink had no comment on the matter.
At the Uforia festival in Los Angeles on Saturday (Aug. 16), Kid Ink told Billboard that he wasn't worried about his arrest in Las Vegas last Friday (Aug. 15). Although he wouldn't tell the website the circumstance surrounding his arrest, the Los Angeles rapper is moving forward with his career. “It’s all good. I’m just looking forward to taking my tour overseas in the next few days," he said.
