December is shaping up to be a good month for music fans. Along with news that J. Cole is dropping a new album, fellow rapper Kid Cudi has revealed the release date for his anticipated project, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.

On Thursday (Dec. 1), the Cudder jumped on his Twitter account and announced that his new album will hit stores digitally on Dec. 16, while physical copies of the album will hit brick-and-mortar stores on Dec. 23— so this will be the perfect Christmas gift for the Kid Cudi fan in your life.

Cudi also dropped a new song called “Baptized In Fire,” featuring Travi$ Scott, whom he has collaborative with on Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. You can listen to the song below.

Fans have been waiting a long time for this album. Cudi originally had planned to release it back in September, but it was delayed due to "sample clearances" not being finalized. Then Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression, and later engaged in Twitter beefs with Drake and Lupe Fiasco.

Last month, Cudi reunited with Kanye West at his Saint Pablo tour in California and the two hugged it out in front of a sold-out crowd.

You can pre-order Kid Cudi's new album now at iTunes.
