Other than his recent drug and criminal mischief arrest in New York City, Kid Cudi has been steadily growing his career since the release of last year's 'Man on the Moon: The End of Day,' and that means stretching outside of hip-hop by acting and grabbing some interesting endorsements. We already showed you Cudi's first collaboration with Converse in which a video crew follows him on a lazy tour of Cleveland (his hometown) and gets the scoop on how he started rapping.

Now, we get news that Cudi will be collaborating on a brand new track for the classic shoe brand that also includes Rostam Batmanglij from indie popsters Vampire Weekend and L.A. neo-doo-wop project Best Coast. The collaboration is similar to 'My Drive Thru' -- another song that Converse commissioned a few years that featured Strokes singer Julian Casablancas, super producer Pharrell and Santigold.

The new track will also get a full video treatment and is currently slated to hit the Internet as a free download next month on the Converse website.
