Master hit maker Just Blaze and legendary DJ Kid Capri are getting together to host a new reality competition for all the DJs out there. The show, entitled 'Master of the Mix,' is currently in production and will air on both BET and Centric. Based on a common reality setup, DJs will compete against each other in a variety of challenges for a $250,000 grand prize.

The actual DJs participating certainly aren't unknowns. Rich Medina and DJ Scratch are some of the best in the game, while contenders like Jazzy Joyce have logged time for hip-hop giant Hot 97 and DJ Mars has worked with Keri Hilson, Kelis and Ne-Yo. The show will be sponsored by Smirnoff and marks the beverage company's first foray into reality television.

"We couldn't be more thrilled at the opportunity to work with some of the most influential leaders in the music industry," said David Tapscott, Smirnoff's brand director. "Smirnoff has always been a part of the nightlife culture, encouraging responsible partying for years and since we're working with some of the most influential DJs who control the night, the partnership between the two spaces feels natural to us."

The competition is slated to kick off in Hollywood before turning into a multi-city skill challenge that brings contestants to Las Vegas, Miami, New York and London.
